Thank You From Our Adopted Platoon!

by Squadron 283 Editor on September 21, 2014

Recently we received a thank you note from our adopted platoon. This content was marked unclassified and we can share it with you here.

Good Evening Sir,

On behalf of the Soldiers in my shop, we would love to thank you for the boxes of goodies that you sent addressed to SFC Stone (he shares with each Section).  I’ve attached a picture of a few of us in my shop (some are on leave).  We ran a 5k on 1SEP14 in celebration of Patriot’s Day!

We loved the boxes of cereal (did I mention Love), Ritz crackers, coffee cream, Hostess cup cakes, and I personally truly love the dried fruits.

You had the five items that the majority of my shop loved.  So we kept the box.  The other boxes, we pushed to the common area where three different units have access to (food never lasts long there). We displayed the items and posted your note there so Soldiers, Coast Guardsmen, and Marines could read as they picked from the selection of food items.

So truly, Thank You.

Aloha,

KTG

Very Respectfully,
