We are waiting to be assigned a new platoon since our last one ended their tour of duty. In the meantime, Nicky Casalenuovo & I have formed an Adopt-A-Platoon club at school to help support our efforts and to raise student awareness for our U.S. military.
Students were able to contribute some green-packaged products for our last St. Patrick’s Day packages and will also help in the coming months with writing morale-boosting cards and letters. I have also been requesting product donations from several companies with good response. I want to thank the Ford Gum, Hershey, Adams & Brooks, Diamond Foods, Poof-Slinky, Kimberly Clark, United States Playing Card Company, & Wham-O companies for their support.
