Neal Conners with March’s Spring and Easter-Themed Supplies for Platoon 9
Nine care packages were sent out to our current platoon in February (some Spring/Easter themed). These will be the last ones sent to this platoon since their tour will end sometime in April. We were instructed to send out the last boxes before March 1st unless otherwise notified. Thank you to everyone who donated items, cash, and/or notes of support over the past several months so that we were able to send useful and enjoyable packages.
We just received our new platoon assignment today, which consists of 25 Marines, including 5 females, and they are deployed from North Carolina to Afghanistan until sometime in November 2013. I will be asking for continued donations for future shipments.
